When Is Flu Season
It’s beginning to be that time of year, falling leaves, cooler weather, holiday parties, gift giving, and unfortunately — the flu. While flu season typically hits the hardest in December, January, and February, flu activity usually begins in late October.
Getting Your Flu Shot
The CDC recommends that all people six months of age or older get their seasonal flu vaccine. While it’s best to get your vaccine in early October to avoid flu season, if you haven’t gotten your vaccine — it’s not too late! Call Alpha Care today at (843) 824-CARE or fill out our online contact form to schedule a quick appointment. No referrals are necessary and we usually can do same day appointments!
