Frederick M. Schaffer - M.D.
Frederick Schaffer is a native New Yorker who switched gears to bring his family to Charleston to set roots and raise children.
His educational accomplishments include a Medical Degree, Pediatric Residency, a Fellowship in Allergy Immunology and Bone Marrow Transplantation, and a second Fellowship in Research Immunology.
Dr. Schaffer also is a lecturer at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, an Assistant Professor at Suny Buffalo Children’s Hospital, an Associate Professor at MUSC, has a Private Allergy/Immunology Practice, and is a Medical Industry Consultant. For fun, he enjoys high-power rocketing, amateur radio, reading, and spending time with Noodles, his faithful furry friend. Dr. Schaffer is grateful to be able to work alongside such a dynamic and esteemed group of colleagues.
